This Meadowdale home for sale is beautifully renovated and designed to adapt. Here are the details I noticed when I visited, and the possibilities I couldn’t stop imagining.

UPDATE: PENDING INSPECTION AS OF AUG. 3, 2026

When I host an open house, I’m rarely thinking about granite countertops or square footage. I’m paying attention to how a home works. Who could live here comfortably? How might the spaces evolve over the next ten years? Where does the architecture invite you to do something it wasn’t originally designed to do?

This beautifully reimagined Meadowdale home for sale kept pulling me back to one idea: Adaptability. This one nails it.

The House Meets You Where You Are

The obvious features are impressive enough: a beautifully remodeled kitchen with an oversized island, a main-level primary suite, a second primary suite downstairs, dedicated office space, generous entertaining areas, and an oversized backyard.

But what interested me most was how many different lives this house could support, from just a few to a multigenerational household to frequent guests to work-from-home pros to empty nesters who still want room for everyone to visit.

The floorplan adapts as your life changes.

A Few Things I Noticed

One of my favorite moments happened before I even walked inside. I found myself sitting on the front porch, chatting with neighbors as they walked by, looking straight down the street toward Puget Sound. The water is in the distance, softened by a mature tree, but the sea air finds its way up the street and across the porch just the same. Sometimes a house introduces itself before you ever open the front door.

Inside, there was another surprise. Tucked beneath the main living area is a finished workshop filled with natural light from oversized windows. Because it’s accessed from the backyard, it’s easy to miss—and I almost did. But it’s exactly the kind of flexible space creative people are always looking for. Whether it’s an art studio, woodworking shop, photography space, or simply a place to spread out on a project, it adds another layer of possibility that isn’t obvious at first glance.

If It Were Mine...

One thing you’ll learn about me is that I can’t tour a house without mentally rearranging it.

This one was no exception.

The home is currently staged with four bedrooms and no formal dining space. For many buyers, that’s exactly the right choice. But if I didn’t need all four bedrooms?

I’d make the room just off the kitchen my dining room.

With a few thoughtful changes, it could become a space designed less for sleeping and more for gathering. I can already imagine long dinners flowing naturally from the oversized kitchen island to a beautifully proportioned dining table, with a built-in buffet anchoring one wall and improved circulation making the entire main level feel even more connected.

Would everyone make the same decision? Probably not. That’s my point. Good homes leave room for interpretation.

The oversized RV parking tells a similar story. It stretches deep into the backyard to a pad where a detached structure once stood. Subject to local regulations and permitting, it’s easy to imagine that area becoming something entirely different in the future—a detached studio, a home office, guest quarters, or another flexible space that evolves with the family’s needs.

Potential doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes you have to know where to look.

Come See It for Yourself

This is the kind of home that’s easy to appreciate, and fun to imagine.

If you’re actively searching, considering a move, or simply enjoy seeing thoughtful renovations through the lens of architecture, design, and livability, I’d love to show you around. We’ll talk about what the home is today. And maybe a little about what it could become.
