Join me for this Edmonds Bowl open house and discover why some homes are better experienced in person. From Puget Sound views to thoughtful design details that photos can’t capture, here’s what stood out to me.

Some homes photograph beautifully. Others ask you to put your phone away. This is one of those homes.
I’ll be hosting an open house this weekend at 1010 Daley Street in Edmonds, and while the listing photos do a respectable job, they can’t quite capture the feeling of standing in the living room as your eyes drift past the rooftops toward Puget Sound. Some views refuse to be compressed into pixels.
This weekend’s Edmonds Bowl open house offers an opportunity to experience one of the neighborhood’s most inviting view homes in person.

A Few Things I Noticed
One of the surprises came from something incredibly simple. Open the large window above the entry, and cool air drifts in from Puget Sound, creating a natural cross breeze through the home. On a warm summer afternoon, it’s a reminder that sometimes good design is simply about working with your surroundings.
Another observation came from the visitors themselves. Nearly everyone who toured the home eventually found their way to the window seat in the front of the house. Some sat for a moment before moving on. Others lingered. It was the place where people instinctively imagined themselves slowing down.
As someone who spends a lot of time studying homes, I find those moments fascinating. Buyers rarely remember every appliance or every fixture. They remember how a home made them feel.

The Possibilities
One of my favorite parts of touring homes is imagining what could be. Walking through this one, I found myself sketching a few ideas in my head—ways to strengthen the connection between the home and those western views and rethink how one of the front rooms could become an even more memorable gathering space.
I’ll save those ideas for visitors who stop by. After all, seeing potential has always been one of my favorite parts of this job.

Location
And, of course, you’re in the Bowl. The waterfront, local restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, parks, and ferry are all close enough that many errands—and many weekend outings—can happen on foot. It’s a lifestyle that’s difficult to replicate.
Join Me This Weekend
Whether you’re actively looking for your next home, curious about Edmonds Bowl, or simply enjoy looking at houses, I hope you’ll stop in. I’d love to walk through it with you and talk design, functionality, and real estate.
